Tips on How to Prevent Clogging of Your 3D Printer by Dave Wirth
Anytime you learn to use a 3D printer you will inevitably run into clogging. This happens when the filament becomes blocked in the hotend. I tried to go over some of the common problems as to why clogs happen and how to fix / prevent them. Usually it is caused from the filament getting too hot inside of the heat sync portion of the hotend. When this happens the filament expands and is not able to be pushed through the tube. To stop this you need to adjust your settings and add additional cooling, usually in the way of more / larger fans.
